St. Mary’s Parish
We have very strong links with our school parish of St. Mary’s Selby. Fr. Anthony Wilson, our Parish Priest is a regular visitor to school and encourages us to live out our faith in many ways. He attends many of our special Collective Worships in school and leads the celebration of the Eucharist at different times of the year.
Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation is led by catechists and takes place for children and parents at St. Mary’s Church.
We have regular Family Masses in church where the children read, sing and take part in the Offertory procession. At other times of the year, depending on the needs of the curriculum and the occasion, individual classes and sometimes the whole school visit church.
